FAQs
-
01. What are the biggest differences between ODIN plan tiers?
Our plans are differentiated mostly by system scale. Most organizations choose their plan based on its limits for grouped BACnet objects and cloud storage capacity. Higher-tier plans support larger buildings or multi-site portfolios with more connected devices and data.
-
02. Is there a limit to how many users can access ODIN?
No. All ODIN plans include unlimited users. You can grant access to teams in operations, facilities, or even external service providers, and they can all use the system according to the permissions of their role with no additional licensing constraints.
-
03. Can ODIN manage multiple buildings under one login?
Yes! This is why many facility managers with large portfolios choose ODIN. A single login can access multiple licensed sites, so one person can manage distributed portfolios from one interface, on any internet-connected device.
-
04. What features are included with every ODIN plan?
All plans include core building management capabilities such as scheduling, trend data tracking, alarms, and mobile app access for remote monitoring and control.
-
05. What is a BACnet object limit?
The BACnet object limit defines how many devices, points, or data objects ODIN can monitor and control. Larger systems with more sensors and equipment will need to take advantage of the higher limits on total BACnet objects in higher plan tiers for full visibility and control.
-
06. Does ODIN require new hardware to upgrade plans?
No. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time without replacing your existing system. Your building automation setup will scale seamlessly as your needs grow.
-
07. How much cloud storage is included with each plan?
Each plan includes a defined amount of cloud storage for data such as trends and system history, with higher tiers offering more capacity
- ODIN 1000: 1 GB
- ODIN 2500: 2.5 GB
- ODIN 5000: 5 GB
- ODIN 10k: 10GB
Additional storage can be requested if needed.
-
08. Does ODIN allow remote access from off-site locations?
Yes. ODIN is cloud-based and accessible through web browsers and mobile devices. Many of our users choose to monitor and control systems from the smartphones in their pockets, anywhere with mobile data service or a wifi connection.
-
09. What are the minimum system requirements to run ODIN?
ODIN requires an Apple iOS, Android, or Windows-based system (Windows 10 or Server), a modern CPU, sufficient RAM and storage, and internet connectivity. It supports access via desktop or mobile browsers.
-
10. Does ODIN work with existing building automation systems?
Yes. ODIN communicates with all BACnet-certified devices and integrates with existing building automation systems. You do not need to replace your BAS to use ODIN.
-
11. Are long-term licensing options available?
Yes. ODIN offers multi-year licensing options, including 3-year prepaid plans for long-term deployments.
